Zales Delaware Inc. agreed to pay $1.8 million to settle allegations employees were shorted on wages by the company's time-rounding policy, months after a California federal judge rebuffed the diamond jewelry chain's bid to leverage a Ninth Circuit ruling to decertify the class.
