Nestle USA Inc. on Friday defeated a customer's proposed class action claiming it misleadingly labels its stuffed pasta products "all natural" even though they contain artificial ingredients, when a California federal judge shot down the customer's interpretation of the phrase.

Nestle USA Inc. urged a California federal court Monday to dismiss a putative class action against the food company, saying the plaintiff failed to define what she meant by "all natural" when she claimed Nestle duped her into buying food with artificial ingredients.
