Medical device company Orthofix International NV has agreed to pay $11 million to settle a New York federal court investor class action alleging that the company glossed over internal issues before an eventual earnings restatement, according to a filing in New York federal court.

Medical device company Orthofix International NV was hit with a wave of proposed securities class actions last week, alleging the firm had painted an improperly rosy picture of its business to investors before disclosing that it would have to restate more than two years worth of financial results.
