DC Circ. Blocks EPA Air Plan For Okla. Indian Country
The D.C. Circuit on Friday shot down federal air quality standards for nonreservation Indian Country lands in Oklahoma, ruling that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency cannot replace a state plan in areas where Native American communities haven't asserted tribal jurisdiction.

Okla. Asks DC Circ. To Nix Clean Air Rules In Indian Country
The state of Oklahoma on Monday asked the D.C. Circuit to knock down rule-making by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency implementing new Clean Air Act regulations in Indian Country, saying the government robbed the state of its jurisdiction in enacting the new rules.
