Circuit on Friday denied SeaWorld of Florida LLC's bid to overturn an Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission ruling penalizing the company for allegedly allowing unsafe working conditions that led to a killer whale trainer's death and calling for limited contact between trainers and whales during performances.

SeaWorld of Florida LLC on Tuesday pushed a D.C. Circuit panel to nix an Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission ruling that it exposes employees to unsafe working conditions that led to a trainer being drowned by a killer whale, saying it should be allowed to monitor and adapt its training protocol without government intervention.
