Toho Co. Ltd., the owner of the intellectual property for Godzilla, reached a settlement Wednesday with a New Orleans brewery it sued for trademark infringement last year over a beer called MechaHopzilla.

Japanese entertainment company Toho Co. Ltd. hit New Orleans Lager & Ale Brewing Co. LLC with a lawsuit in Louisiana federal court Friday, saying NOLA's "Mechahopzilla" beer violates Toho's intellectual property for the famed Japanese monster Godzilla's mechanized counterpart Mechagodzilla.
