The Federal Circuit on Monday affirmed a ruling that HTC Corp. did not infringe patents owned by German patent licensing company IPCom GmBH & Co., a win for the smartphone maker in a dispute that is being heard in courts around the world.

IPCom Slams HTC Telecom Patent Ruling In Fed. Circ.
A federal judge erred in ruling that HTC did not infringe IPCom GmbH & Co. KG's telecommunications access patents, IPCom told the Federal Circuit on Tuesday, faulting the judge for allegedly adopting an overly narrow construction of one of the patent's claims.
