Eveready Can't Escape 'Skintimate' Trademark Suit
A New York federal judge on Tuesday rejected attempts by Eveready Battery Co. Inc. to escape Gelmart Industries Inc.'s suit seeking a judgment that its planned "Skintimate" lingerie line doesn't infringe Eveready's trademarked shaving products of the same name, ruling that Gelmart properly alleged an actual controversy.

Lingerie company Gelmart Industries Inc. sued battery and personal care product manufacturer Everready Battery Co. Inc. in New York federal court Monday, asking for a declaration that it hasn't infringed a Everready trademark with its "Skintimates" bras, panties and sleepwear.
