5th Circ. Won't Rehear U. Of Texas Affirmative Action Case
The Fifth Circuit on Wednesday declined to reconsider its ruling that the University of Texas at Austin's policy of race-conscious admissions is constitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment, with 10 judges voting against a rehearing and five judges voting in favor.
