Servers At NYC Restaurant Score Default Win In Wage Action
A New York federal judge said Wednesday he had no choice but to rule in favor of a class of servers suing a restaurateur after he defied discovery orders, entering a default judgment and $7,000 in sanctions while allowing the defendants' attorneys to leave the case over more than $100,000 in unpaid fees.

Kaufman Dolowich Client Hit With $500 Daily Sanctions
A New York federal judge Thursday ordered a Manhattan restaurant owner represented by Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP to pay $500 a day in sanctions for failing to comply with an April discovery order in a class action alleging wage theft.
