FX, Exxon Settle Trademark Suit Weeks Before Trial
21st Century Fox unit FX Networks LLC and Exxon Mobil Corp. have settled ExxonMobil's trademark infringement suit accusing FX of using the signature design of two interlocking Xs for its network FXX, before the trial began, according to court documents filed on Friday.

Exxon Trademark Search Evidence Out Of Bounds, Fox Says
Fox unit FX Networks LLC urged a Texas federal court Tuesday to bar Exxon Mobil Corp. from introducing evidence in an upcoming trademark-infringement trial suggesting that FX didn't perform an adequate search before registering its FXX mark, arguing that the evidence invokes FX's attorney-client privilege.
