A Delaware federal judge on Thursday trimmed Andrulis Pharmaceuticals Corp.'s suit accusing rival drugmaker Celgene Corp. of infringing its patent covering a bone marrow cancer treatment, ruling a direct infringement claim was implausible.

Andrulis Pharmaceuticals Corp. accused rival drugmaker Celgene Corp. of inducing the infringement of a bone marrow cancer treatment by encouraging physicians to prescribe a drug cocktail covered by an Andrulis patent, according to a suit filed Wednesday in Delaware federal court.
