The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Monday asked a D.C. Circuit panel to review its decision nixing a final rule that would have determined which heavy truck manufacturers must comply with new air standards.

The D.C. Circuit on Wednesday threw out the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's final rule for determining which heavy truck manufacturers comply with new air standards, handing a win to Daimler AG and other companies that challenged the rule.
