A California federal judge declined Tuesday to accept a $3.5 million class action settlement that would resolve a shareholder suit against Corinthian Colleges over its enrollment practices, saying plaintiffs attorneys failed to establish the amount of the settlement is reasonable and that their representation of the lead plaintiff presents any conflicts.
