'Elysium' Director Beats Writer's Infringement Lawsuit
A California federal judge on Friday threw out a screenwriter's copyright suit accusing Academy Award-nominated director Neill Blomkamp of stealing his screenplay and turning it into the 2013 film "Elysium," finding the two stories were only generally similar.
