9th Circ. Remands Jailed City Official's Coverage Suit
The Ninth Circuit has sent a fight between an insurer and a city manager imprisoned for embezzling millions of dollars from Bell, California, back to federal court, saying while the policy excluded coverage, the court failed to consider his argument that the insurer agreed to defend him anyway.

Jailed City Official Asks 9th Circ. To Revive Coverage Suit
An imprisoned city administrator urged the Ninth Circuit at a recent hearing to revive his coverage battle with the Insurance Co. of the State of Pennsylvania, saying it should have funded his civil and criminal defense against claims that he looted the city of Bell, California.
