A New Jersey federal judge has confirmed all of a $7.7 million arbitration award for Chinese flash driver maker Netac Technology Co. Ltd. in a long-running patent infringement suit against PNY Technologies Inc., ruling that sales evidence justified PNY paying a disputed $2.2 million royalty.

PNY Technologies has urged a New Jersey federal court to deny a bid to confirm a $7.7 million arbitration award in favor of Chinese flash drive maker Netac Technology Co. Ltd. in a long-running patent dispute, claiming it shouldn't have to pay the royalty payments that comprise the award.
