Adidas Settles With Wal-Mart, Shoe Designer In IP Row
Adidas America Inc. will settle a trademark dispute with shoe designer Elan Polo Inc. and retailer Wal-Mart Stores Inc. over the sale of a shoe that allegedly infringed on Adidas' well-known three-stripe design, according to a Tuesday filing in a Missouri federal court.

Shoe Designer Denies Ripping Off Adidas' 3-Stripe Mark
St. Louis-based shoe designer Elan Polo Inc. on Monday asked a Missouri federal court to declare that its products are not illegally replicating a series of Adidas trademarks covering the company's well-known three-stripe design after in the face of infringement allegations from the athletic apparel giant.
