HP Loses Four Patents Under Alice In ServiceNow Suit
In a blow to Hewlett-Packard Co.'s infringement suit against competitor ServiceNow Inc., a California federal judge on Tuesday invalidated four of the eight technology patents HP asserted in the case for covering nothing more than abstract ideas, citing the U.S. Supreme Court's Alice decision.
