Walgreen Escapes False Ad Suit Over Homeopathic Ear Meds
The two lead plaintiffs in a proposed class action accusing Walgreen Co. Inc. of deceiving consumers about the effectiveness of homeopathy ear medicine agreed to drop their suit against the drug store chain, according to an order signed in California federal court on Wednesday.

A California federal judge on Thursday refused to sever a putative class action accusing Walgreen Co. of concealing that its homeopathic earache remedies are ineffective, saying the claims over the Ear Pain Relief and Ear Ache Drops products are similar enough to sustain the joinder of the claims.

Walgreen Misled Buyers Of Homeopathic Remedies, Suit Says
Walgreen Co. misleads consumers by failing to tell them that homeopathic earache remedies are diluted to the point of ineffectiveness, according to a putative class action removed by the company to California federal court on Monday.
