A Georgia federal judge on Wednesday threw out a putative class action accusing The Cartoon Network Inc. of disclosing its mobile application users' personal information without consent, ruling that the shared information wasn't personal enough.

Turner Broadcasting System Inc. subsidiaries Cable News Network Inc. and The Cartoon Network Inc. were slapped with proposed class actions in Illinois and Georgia federal court on Wednesday for allegedly disclosing their mobile application users' personal information without consent.
