Judge Calls Maternity Store Privacy Deal 'Approvable'
Two months after he shot down a settlement awarding $25 gift cards to a proposed class of Destination Maternity Corp. customers in a privacy action, a California federal judge has given the deal a nod in an order that refrains from lauding the settlement's adequacy.

Plaintiffs in a proposed class action alleging that Destination Maternity Corp. unlawfully requested phone numbers from customers when they paid with credit cards on Wednesday told a California federal judge who'd previously questioned the deal that a $25 gift card for each member was a fair award.
