A former executive at children's clothing company Carter's Inc. has accepted an injunction requiring him to pay more than $50,000 and banning him from high-level work at publicly traded companies, according to documents filed Wednesday by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Georgia federal court.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit Friday in Georgia federal court accusing a former high-ranking executive at children's clothing company Carter's Inc. of insider trading and tipping violations.
