Yamada To Pay $744K To End Dealers' Steering Parts Suit
Auto parts maker Yamada Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and its U.S. unit have agreed to pay $744,000 and provide documents and witnesses to auto dealers who say they were ripped off by bid-rigging and other anti-competitive practices by suppliers of electronic steering parts, Wednesday filings in Michigan federal court show.

Auto Parts Manufacturers Can't Ditch Antitrust MDL
Mitsubishi Electric Corp., Mitsuba Corp. and others can't escape allegations by Florida's attorney general, dealerships and buyers that they fixed auto parts prices, a Michigan federal judge ruled Wednesday, saying similar allegations have already survived dismissal bids in the sprawling multidistrict litigation.
