Yamaha Says Calif. Court Can't Hear Defect Claims Against It
Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. on Friday urged a California federal judge to toss a putative consumer class action alleging its boat motors have a design defect that leads to corrosion, saying the court doesn't have jurisdiction over the Japan-based company.
