A class of eight exotic dancers is in line to receive nearly $1.8 million after a federal jury found that a Miami strip club and its owner willfully violated the Fair Labor Standards Act when they stiffed them on wages and overtime.

A Florida federal judge on Monday certified state law claims brought by a collective class of exotic dancers accusing a Miami strip club of stiffing them on wages and overtime, more than a year after he granted conditional certification of their Fair Labor Standards Act claims.
