St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Inc. on Wednesday ended a patent suit that accused Amgen Inc. of stealing patented DNA and nucleic acids material used to fight cancer and unlawfully licensing them to Tesaro Inc. in a $138 million deal, according to a filing in Tennessee federal court.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Inc. on Tuesday sued Amgen Inc. in Tennessee federal court, alleging the company obtained patented DNA and nucleic acids material used for fighting cancer and unlawfully licensed them to Tesaro Inc. for a potential payout exceeding $100 million.
