A Florida federal judge on Saturday declared a bid by affiliates of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel to block condominium management firm Luxury Suites International LLC from using the hotel's trademarks in advertisements as moot, saying the parties have settled and resolved all outstanding issues in the case.

Affiliates of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel asked a Florida federal judge Wednesday to force condominium management firm Luxury Suites International LLC to stop using the hotel's trademarks in advertisements, which are allegedly misleading consumers and soliciting unit owners to breach agreements with the resort's own condo management arm.

The owner of the Miami Beach, Fla., Fontainebleau hotel sued Luxury Suites International LLC in federal court Wednesday, accusing the Las Vegas-based company of unlawfully using its trademarks and interfering with contracts in an attempt to rent out condominium units at the famed resort.
