Twin City Fire Insurance Co. doesn't have to cover a medical equipment company's defense costs in connection with a whistleblower suit alleging violations of the False Claims Act, a California federal judge ruled Friday, saying the insurer's obligations haven't been triggered because the complaint hasn't been served on the policyholder.
