An Illinois federal judge Wednesday granted final approval to a $4.75 million settlement that ends a lawsuit accusing Advocate Health Care Network of improperly excluding its home health care workers from overtime pay.

An Illinois federal magistrate judge indicated Thursday she would sign off on a $4.75 million settlement in a class action filed by a group of nurses and physical therapists who claim Advocate Health Care Network and its subsidiaries misclassified them as exempt from overtime pay.
