FDA Must Change Labeling On Heartburn Meds: Watchdog
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration must require so-called black box warning labels alerting consumers to adverse health risks on all proton pump inhibitor drugs used to treat heartburn and other gastrointestinal issues, a consumer watchdog said in a complaint Wednesday urging a Washington, D.C., federal court to intervene.
