Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. urged a Washington, D.C., federal court on Thursday to bar the U.S. Food and Drug Administration from approving generic versions of its multiple sclerosis treatment Copaxone unless they meet more stringent clinical trial standards, claiming the cheaper alternatives might pose risks to consumers.
