A California federal judge on Wednesday tossed a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act class action against Gencor Nutrients Inc., oral supplement manufacturers and GNC Corp. over an allegedly discredited herbal extract touted as a testosterone-boosting silver bullet, ruling the claims were insufficient.

An herbal extract widely touted as a testosterone-boosting silver bullet has been comprehensively discredited, according to a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act class action filed Thursday in California federal court against the product's supplier, a slew of oral supplement manufacturers and distributor GNC Corp.
