Anti-'Patent Troll' Tech Startup Wins Atty Fees In IP Row
A tech startup with a policy to "never settle with trolls" was awarded nearly $700,000 in attorneys' fees on Tuesday by a Florida federal judge, who said the unsuccessful patent infringement suit brought by Advanced Ground Information Systems Inc. was "exceptionally weak."

'Never Settle With Trolls,' Startup Says After Patent Verdict
After a Florida federal jury found that startup Life360 Inc. did not infringe patents held by Advanced Ground Information Systems Inc., Life360 said Thursday that it hopes the victory sets an example for other small companies that find themselves the target of patent suits.
