An Arizona federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a suit claiming home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. forced a vendor to spill trade secrets to a rival company, saying the vendor couldn't prove any wrongdoing.

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. asked an Arizona federal judge on Wednesday to bounce a lawsuit claiming the retailer forced one of its vendors to hand over trade secrets to a rival company, calling those allegations "sparse" and "innocuous."

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. was slapped with an unfair competition suit Thursday in Arizona federal court alleging it forced a company called Cornucopia Products LLC to fork over trade secrets for towel warmers to another supplier.
