The maker of HotHands Hand Warmers told an Arizona federal judge Thursday that the woman who suffered burns from using the product to soothe pain from breast implant surgery ignored the product's instructions and was on painkillers, thus her negligence and liability lawsuit should be dismissed.

Heatmax Inc. hand warmers that an Arizona woman bought from a Wal-Mart Stores Inc. store to soothe pain from breast implant surgery had the opposite effect, burning large holes in the woman's breasts, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Arizona federal court.
