FWS Denied Bid To Relist Prairie Chicken As Threatened
A Texas federal judge on Monday found that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hadn't proven its argument that stripping the lesser prairie chicken of its threatened species listing had caused irreparable harm and declined to amend his judgment that delisted the bird.

FWS Keeps Up Court Bid To Relist Prairie Chicken
In a round of filings Wednesday, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service asked a Texas federal judge to amend his judgment tossing the lesser prairie chicken's threatened species listing and give the agency a chance to relist the bird, while the industry group that opposed the original listing argued there's no reason to revisit the case.
