The Mormon Church reached a settlement Tuesday in a lawsuit that accused it of selling smartphone apps that infringed copyrighted Bible readings by famed voice actor Alexander Scourby, the "greatest voice ever recorded."

The Mormon Church on Tuesday was slapped with a copyright infringement and breach of contract suit in Florida federal court by a religious app maker, which claims the church improperly sold digital copies of Bible narrations in violation of a licensing agreement.
