Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. of America urged a Virginia federal judge on Monday to keep alive its suit seeking to dodge coverage for a Virginia lawyer who pled guilty to scamming First American Title Insurance Co. in real estate transactions, saying it has sufficiently pled its claims.

Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. of America on Wednesday sued a Virginia lawyer and his firm, alleging his professional liability policy should be invalidated because he concealed the fact that he was engaged in illegal real estate practices on his application.
