An Israeli tech company pursuing patent infringement suits against Apple Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. and BlackBerry Ltd. over wireless hotspot technology urged a New York federal judge Wednesday to reconsider a recent transfer of the suits to California, saying defendants will unfairly benefit from the states' different claim construction rules.

Three related patent infringement suits against Apple Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Blackberry Ltd. are moving to California, a New York federal judge ruled Thursday, saying convenience overwhelmingly favored a transfer because no party identified any relevant contact to New York.
