TLI Communications LLC asked the Federal Circuit Friday to dismiss Apple Inc. from an appeal it filed after Apple won dismissal of a patent infringement suit brought by the Marathon Patent Group Inc. unit, saying the parties have reached an agreement.

Apple Inc. on Tuesday urged a Virginia federal judge to award it attorneys' fees after winning dismissal of a patent infringement suit brought by a Marathon Patent Group Inc. unit, saying the non-practicing entity's claims are "objectively baseless" and its litigation tactics are "abusive."
