An Alabama federal judge on Tuesday refused to free Jacoby & Meyers LLC and a senior partner of The Cochran Firm PC from racketeering, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims brought by a Missouri attorney over a failed joint venture, saying each of the suit's claims have been adequately pled.

An Alabama federal judge on Tuesday refused to disqualify The Cochran Firm PC, the firm founded by famed attorney Johnnie L. Cochran, from representing defendants in a racketeering and fraud lawsuit filed against Jacoby & Meyers LLP and others over the dissolution of a law firm joint venture.
