A New York federal judge on Friday ordered a sound engineer who unsuccessfully sued rap superstar Jay Z and his Roc-A-Fella Records LLC record label for copyright infringement to pay about $160,000 in legal fees for an equally "frivolous" appeal, but declined to hold the engineer's former attorney personally liable.
