Military contractor DHS Technologies LLC on Friday urged a Pennsylvania federal judge to deny an employee-turned-whistleblower's request for attorneys' fees and costs after it agreed to pay $1.9 million to settle a claim that it overcharged the federal government on emergency mobile shelter purchases.

Military contractor DHS Technologies LLC will pay $1.9 million to settle claims the company charged more for emergency mobile shelters sold to the federal government than it charged for ones sold to Northrop Grumman Corp. in violation of the False Claims Act, according to a settlement filed in Pennsylvania federal court Thursday.
