A California production company on Tuesday accused writer and actor Seth MacFarlane and Universal Pictures of lifting the idea for the 2012 blockbuster comedy "Ted," starring a foul-mouthed teddy bear, claiming in a federal suit that the movie ripped off a Web series centered on an abusive stuffed bear.
