A man accusing Stryker Corp. of promoting the combination of two medical devices despite knowing it could lead to unwanted bone growth has resolved his claims against the company, according to a document filed in Louisiana federal court on Thursday.

A Louisiana federal judge on Monday kept alive most of a suit claiming that Stryker Corp. promoted the off-label combining of two medical devices despite knowing the high risk of side effects, finding that the plaintiff's claims under the Louisiana Products Liability Act were plausible.
