A California federal judge on Thursday denied American Technical Ceramics Corp.'s bid to undo a jury's $2.1 million verdict against it for violating a patent for ceramic capacitors held by Presidio Components, and granted Presidio's request for additional damages as well as an injunction.

Presidio Seeks To Add To $2.1M Patent Infringement Verdict
Presidio Components Inc. urged a California federal judge Wednesday to add supplemental damages and interest to a jury's $2.1 million verdict finding American Technical Ceramics Corp. infringed Presidio's patent for ceramic capacitors, saying wrongdoers shouldn't be able to escape compensating patentholders for the time between verdict and judgment.

Jury Awards Presidio $2.1M In Capacitor IP Trial
A California federal jury on Monday awarded more than $2.1 million to Presidio Components Inc., finding that American Technical Ceramics Corp. infringed a Presidio patent for ceramic capacitors with four of its capacitors.
