Sam's Club Gets Initial OK For Up To $6M Deal In Refund Row
A South Carolina federal judge gave her initial blessing Thursday to a deal that will see Sam's Club pay up to $6 million to resolve claims that it flouted membership agreements with customers by failing to provide a 200 percent refund on returned fresh goods, deeming the settlement fair and reasonable.
