The Third Circuit on Wednesday blocked an attempt by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, whose firm issued a critical report on an alleged cover-up of sex abuse at Pennsylvania State University, to affirm his right to fight a defamation suit in federal court before a district court sent the case back to state court.
