A Florida federal judge has rejected class certification for a group of consumers accusing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of repeatedly calling their cellphones without permission, but allowed the group to give it another try after disclosing expert witness reports for trial.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. was hit Tuesday with a proposed class action in Florida federal court by a consumer who claims the retail giant repeatedly called his cellphone without permission to persuade him to refill his prescriptions there, violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
